英作文

今日は英作文を張ってみた。テーマは、「 If you had to lose one of your five senses, which one would it be and why?」

　 If I had to lose one of my five senses, I would choose losing the sense of taste for two reasons.

　First,the sense of taste occupies a lower priority among the five senses. According to a study, most information comes from sight and hearing. In contrast, the sense of taste is connected with only a few percent of information.

　Secondly,  supplements or the sense of smell and texture can work as substitutes for the sense of taste.The sense of it helps us to enjoy having a meal. However, the main purpose of having a meal is to get nutritious and live a life. Thus, it is enough to use supplements like vitamin tablets. In addition, studies say that most teste comes from its smell. Therefore, if you lose the sense of taste, you could keep enjoying a meal to a certain extent.

　For the above two reasons, if I were compelled to forfeit one of my five senses, I would  relinquish the sense of taste in terms of precedent and substitution.
