I mainly use Claude Code for coding, but I heard that Codex has been getting better, so I tried using it today to build some tools.
My first impression was that Codex’s output wasn’t as good as Claude Code’s when using simple prompts. I didn’t try providing an `AGENTS.md`, so I’m not sure whether it could perform better with more context.
That said, I also felt that Claude Code’s processing speed has been getting slower than before.

In my first impression, I think Codex's generating result is not good than Claude Code with my simple prompts. I didn't try to give AGENTS.md so I'm not sure it can be done more effectively.
